MISSION AND PRIORITIES
And on either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve
kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Revelation 22:2
Our priorities are built around the mission and purpose of the Seventh-day Adventist Church: To share with all
people the everlasting gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (see Matthew 28:19, 20 and Revelation 14:6-12). To this end, we pledge to:
- Live and exemplify the abiding assurance of the saving grace of Jesus Christ, remaining fully committed to the teachings of the Bible.
- Practice the power of prayer and the presence of the Holy Spirit, exhibited by the fruits of the Spirit evident within each life.
- Communicate clearly and effectively by creating innovative, relevant methods to draw people to Christ and the Church.
- Cultivate unity within families, between members, and among sister churches.
- Encourage members to be spiritually engaged in their own neighborhoods and support global outreach opportunities.
- Offer leadership and outreach training programs for local members and lay leaders.
- Provide spiritual and social retreat opportunities for children, youth, families, and adult groups such as singles, couples, and seniors.
- Be committed to Adventist Christian education, making it affordable and accessible to children and youth of all ages.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls
is wise. Proverbs 11:30
