Philips Mompremier was born in Cap Haitian, Haiti to Mr.& Mrs. Evelt Mompremier. He is the third of eight children. Ernst, Edwingts, Philips, Eveline, Ketlie, Lunie, Lautie and Karen.
Philips was raised in Saint-Louis du Nord where his father was working until 1979. In 1980 the family returned to their native Cap Haitian after his father emigrated to the United States of America via Miami Florida.
Philips attended the Adventist Academy in Cap Haitian and the Franco-Haitian Institute in Port-au-Prince Haiti for his basic schooling. He further studied psychology at the State University of Haiti and started theology at the Adventist University of Haiti. He graduated at Oakwood University with a double major in Psychology and Theology and a minor in Biblical Languages. He holds a Master in Information Technology from American Intercontinental University and a Master in Ministry with emphasis in Mission and Evangelism from Southern Adventist University in Tennessee.
Philips has always been involved with the church. He used to accompany his father to the numerous churches he has served in the Northwestern part of Haiti. Later Philips was a member of the singing groups “Heraldos del Rey”and “Choeurs d’Homme du Cap” From these two groups, God raised many pastors, Fred Saint Fleur, William Jean Charles, Caleb Pierre, Esteb Pierre and Philips Mompremier. Philips was a Sabbath school teacher, Assistant Youth Director, Elder and later became a Pastor. He has served numerous churches and led hundreds to Christ.
Philips has been married to the beautiful Katia Brizard Mompremier for twenty years and together they have three wonderful children, Stephanie, Alissa and Matthew.
Philips has been serving in the Florida Conference since 2005, first as a Volunteer Lay Pastor while working full time for the Department of Children and Families. In May 2013 he became a Full Time Pastor. He has served and plans to continue to serve with honor, dignity and diligence. It is with great humility that he believes that God has been leading him through it all.

About Us


The Adventurer Club is a Seventh-day Adventist Church-sponsored ministry open to all families of children in grades 1-4. Our mission is to support parents and caregivers in leading and encouraging their children in a growing, joyful love relationship with Jesus Christ.
The first few years of a child’s life sets the stage for their future.  For parents/families of pre-K through fourth grade children, our Adventurer Clubs provide a safe place to encourage the development of the necessary social and interpersonal skills they need, in an environment that promotes Christian values and responsibilities.
Families will learn a variety of topics together, from character building, nature, hobbies, safety, and much more. This club also has parenting tips and resources through the family network and is designed to help you be the best parent/caregiver you can be as you partner with your child and other families to grow your kids to be the best they can be. Most clubs meet twice a month.
