Jupiter International Festival
The Jupiter Seventh Day Adventist Church held its first International Festival on Sabbath, January 12, 2019. This evoked joyous excitement from the church membership which heightened to a crescendo that expressed the broad spectrum of its diversity.
Representation was from their ancestral countries namely, USA, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico Cuba, Brazil, Canada, Russia, Serbia, Bosnia/Herzegovina; Croatia; Romania, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Israel, Lebanon, Greece, France, South Korea, India, Philippines, Kenya, Argentina, Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad, Haiti, and Bahamas.
All enjoyed their homeland culinary delicacies, enthralled by colorful attire from their native lands, harmonized with their familiar Christian music in an atmosphere punctuated with cultural dialects.
The conclusion of the event crystallized the concept that we are now all Americans…all children of the family God, which further realized that sacred newer vivid perception of this first quarter Sabbath School Study of Revelation. “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Rev.7:9-10
