Message from Administration – April 14

Dear Florida Conference family,

We pray that you had a blessed weekend remembering our Savior’s great sacrifice and celebrating His resurrection. We have so much to be thankful for amidst this unsettling time. As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation, and many of us are anxious to get back to “normal” life, there is peace to be had when we pause. Be thankful for the quiet days when nothing special seems to be happening. Use these times of routine to reflect on Christ.  Sometimes during these reflections, it is important to remember that often no news is good news. So, we wait with you and press forward. We continue to pray and look forward to the day when we can gather together once again.

In the meantime, we thank you for your faithfulness and patience as we figure out how to best serve you in this new normal. Each of you blesses us in ways that you may not know, and our hope and prayer are that you also may be blessed.

We serve an incredible God who performs miracles every day. Even now, they are happening all around us. Even though we’ve lost many people worldwide to this virus, He has saved countless more. As we continue to feel the impact of this pandemic, we also see God moving in amazing ways and how He is working to touch others. How He is manifesting His power through everyday miracles, not just throughout the world, but in our conference! Please join us this coming Sabbath, April 18, at 6:30 pm for Vespers as we share some of the miracles happening in our midst.

As we close, remember this, “What is impossible with man is possible with God” Luke 18:27.

May the Lord bless you always,

Florida Conference Administration

About Us

The Adventurer Club is a Seventh-day Adventist Church-sponsored ministry open to all families of children in grades 1-4. Our mission is to support parents and caregivers in leading and encouraging their children in a growing, joyful love relationship with Jesus Christ.
The first few years of a child’s life sets the stage for their future.  For parents/families of pre-K through fourth grade children, our Adventurer Clubs provide a safe place to encourage the development of the necessary social and interpersonal skills they need, in an environment that promotes Christian values and responsibilities.
Families will learn a variety of topics together, from character building, nature, hobbies, safety, and much more. This club also has parenting tips and resources through the family network and is designed to help you be the best parent/caregiver you can be as you partner with your child and other families to grow your kids to be the best they can be. Most clubs meet twice a month.
